The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.

Every Citizens Advice Bureau is a registered charity reliant on trained volunteers and funds to provide these vital services for local communities.

Mid-Derbyshire Citizens Advice Bureau provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to all residents of Amber Valley, Derbyshire Dales and Erewash on a broad range of issues including:

•Social Security Benefits
•Utilities

We offer advice to Amber Valley, Derbyshire Dales and Erewash residents in our bureaux at Belper, Heanor, Matlock and Ilkeston and via a number of outreach venues in the local community. You can make an appointment by calling 0844 375 2712 between 10 am and 1 pm Mondays to Fridays.

We also have advisors working in many local GP surgeries, if you are a patient at one of these surgeries you can simply call your doctors' reception to book an appointment to see us.
