Derbyshire Districts Citizens Advice Bureau provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to all residents of Amber Valley, Derbyshire Dales, Erewash and High Peak on a broad range of issues including:

We offer advice to Amber Valley, Derbyshire Dales, Erewash and High Peak residents in our bureaux at Belper, Buxton, Glossop, Heanor, Ilkeston, Matlock and New Mills and via a number of outreach venues in the local community. You can make an appointment by calling 0844 375 2712 from a landline or 0300 456 8390 from a mobile, between 9.30am and 4pm Mondays to Fridays.

We also have advisers working in many local GP surgeries, if you are a patient at one of these surgeries you can simply call your doctors' reception to book an appointment to see us.

Advice sessions

Many bureaux now have a short introductory interview to help decide how you can be best advised. You may then be asked to make an appointment. If the bureau is open only for appointments or specialist advice this will be indicated in the notes.
