East Hampshire CAB has offices in Whitehill & Bordon, Alton and Petersfield, and outreaches in Horndean and Liphook for walk-in clients and appointments. We offer advice and information on welfare benefits, debt and money matters, housing, employment and many other matters. We also have a telephone Adviceline service across the district, and can do home visits if you are unable to travel.
We also have volunteer caseworkers for debt, employment, welfare benefits and housing. We have contracts with Hampshire Macmillan Citizens Advice Service to provide advice for cancer patients and with Scottish & Southern Electricity to help reduce fuel poverty.
We currently have 22 paid members of staff and over 120 volunteers.

The Citizens Advice service offers practical, up-to-date information and advice on a wide range of topics, including; debt, benefits, housing, legal, discrimination, employment, immigration, consumer and other problems.
Our advice is available to everyone regardless of race, gender, sexuality, age, nationality, disability or religion.

The majority of advisers are trained volunteers, helping the Citizens Advice service to resolve over 6 million new problems every year.
We couldn’t survive without our 21,000 fantastic volunteers, but we need around 5,000 more. We’re looking for all sorts of people with different backgrounds and skills to volunteer with us for a uniquely rewarding experience.

Because every Citizens Advice Bureau is an independent charity we rely on the support of people like you.
With a Citizens Advice Bureau in the community people always have somewhere to turn in times of crisis, but the unmet demand for our service is growing. Can you help us to help more people?
Raise money for East Hampshire CAB while shopping online - it won't cost you an extra penny!

Together, we are the Citizens Advice service, and we help people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.
