About us

East Lindsey Citizens Advice Bureau is an independent charity which offers a free, confidential advice and information service from its offices in Louth, Mablethorpe and Skegness.

We provide both a drop-in and appointments service and are part of the Lincolnshire Adviceline telephone service.

Our advisers are volunteers, who are fully trained to provide high quality advice on subjects including welfare benefits, consumer, housing, family and debt.

We also have teams of specialist debt and welfare benefits advisers who can provide support on an on-going basis.

Volunteer

The majority of advisers are trained volunteers, helping the Citizens Advice service to resolve over seven million new problems every year.

We couldn’t survive without our 21,500 fantastic volunteers, but we need around 5,000 more. We’re looking for all sorts of people with different backgrounds and skills to volunteer with us for a uniquely rewarding experience.

About the Citizens Advice service

There are 382 Citizens Advice Bureaux across England and Wales, all of which are members of Citizens Advice.

Together, we are the Citizens Advice service, and we help people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.

Support us

Because every Citizens Advice Bureau is an independent charity we rely on the support of people like you.

With a Citizens Advice Bureau in the community people always have somewhere to turn in times of crisis, but the unmet demand for our service is growing. Can you help us to help more people?
