This seminar will provide the training materials to enable you to deliver a two-hour in-house bureau training session to generalist workers on the correct documentation and cancellation notices required in various consumer contracts and the consequences if breached.
Seminar Summary
At the end of the seminar, participants should be able to:
- Have gained confidence in dealing with queries regarding the enforcement of consumer contracts and the consumer’s rights of cancellation, if any
- Be able to distinguish the various legislation in relation to distance, doorstep and credit transactions and the appropriate documentation and cancellation notices.
- Be able to deliver in-house training on the subject
- Take away training aids (OHPs) and course materials including tutor notes which you can annotate during the seminar
- Have had the opportunity to ask questions/clarify issues around the course material
Who is it for?
We would recommend that the participant is the person who will be presenting the materials in-bureau. The seminar will involve some pre-course work before attending the seminar to ensure that they are familiar with the existing Citizens Advice materials available to all advisers.
