In partnership with councils across England and Wales, Citizens Advice Bureaux provide highly responsive advice and problem prevention services that make a real difference to the lives of individuals, their families and the community as a whole.
Four in ten people have used our service at some point in their lives (BMRB, 2009). In 2010/11 alone we helped more than 2 million people to resolve over 7 million problems relating to debt, employment, housing, benefits, consumer rights and many other issues besides.
Citizens Advice Bureaux offer advice from over 3,500 locations, including high streets, doctors’ surgeries and courts, giving us greater coverage than even the top two supermarket chains.
