Citizens Advice

The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.

Every Citizens Advice Bureau is a registered charity reliant on trained volunteers and funds to provide these vital services for local communities.

Our advisers help people resolve over 5.5 million problems every year. Our main areas of enquiry include debt, housing, employment and benefits, but the one thing all our volunteer advisers find rewarding is the wide variety of enquiries and people they deal with every day.
