Disability discrimination at work
Course outline
Disability discrimination is a complex area of employment advice but if cases are correctly argued they can give significant benefits for clients. This course will deal with the changes to the law made by the Equality Act 2010 as well as recent law and procedure. The course will also highlight how arguments for reasonable adjustment can be made to best effect.
Learning objectives
By the end of this course you will be able to:
- Explain the legal claims that arise in relation to disability
- Select comparators in a disability discrimination claim
- Argue claims for reasonable adjustments at work
- Incorporate new rights into arguments for clients
