Advocacy in the employment tribunal
Course outline
This highly popular two-day course gives both an introduction to skills used in employment tribunal advocacy and an opportunity to practice those skills in a safe 'live' environment. The essential preparation for a tribunal is covered in a realistic case study and then you will be involved in mock tribunal scenarios to practise your skills.
Learning objectives
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- explain what an employment tribunal is expecting from an advocate
- present evidence to an employment tribunal
- prepare cross-examination of witnesses
- make a submission to the tribunal to support your case
