Compensation in the employment tribunal
Course outline
In this course, we will look at the basic law of employment tribunal compensation; the difference between compensation for unfair dismissal and for unlawful discrimination; heads of loss (including pension); Polkey principles; drafting a schedule of loss and the need to information gather in advance of assessing compensation.

By the end of this course you will be able to:
- systematically review potential losses in a claim
- present supported arguments for future loss of earnings
- assess injury to feelings awards in discrimination cases
- draft a comprehensive schedule of loss
