Employment casework skills
Course outline
Employment casework involves a variety of skills including gathering and managing information and advice to clients, researching legal rights, the critical assessment of legal merits and evidence and drafting documents. This course will introduce you to the basic skills of employment casework and sat a framework for further personal development in this area of advice.

By the end of this course you will be able to:
- use case planning methods to improve advice and save time
- manage cases more effectively
- draft documents more confidently and quickly
- plan you own personal development as an employment caseworker
