Essential discrimination law
Course outline
This course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to recognise discrimination in the workplace and how to analyse the 'prohibited conduct' that has occurred. The course will also give you and understanding of how to resolve discrimination claims and the remedies which apply.
Learning objectives
By the end of this course you will be able to:
- identify what individual characteristics are protected by the Equality Act
- explain what 'prohibited conduct' is unlawful in the work place
- advise on the remedies for discrimination
- apply what you have learned about discrimination in your work
