Juggling at work: flexible working and carers rights
Course outline
Flexible working is now a right accessible by many parents and carers and disputes can give rise to discrimination claims. This course set out the main rights to request flexible work and tips for making successful requests to work flexibly. Exercises will also allow you to identify when discrimination claims arise and the rights and remedies that a client has access to.

By the end of this course you will be able to:
- Recognise when requests for flexible work can be made
- Explain the statutory process for making requests for flexible work
- Support clients in making positive arguments to their employer
- Identify when discrimination claims may arise
