Course outline
The law of unfair dismissal will change radically in 2012 as new legislation takes effect.This course will give you a comprehensive understanding of the new legal framework and the practical and tactical issues that arise in assessing and running claims under the new regime, including assessing automatic unfair dismissal options. The course will also look at the key remedies and compensation issues arising from unfair dismissal claims.

- explain the new law on unfair dismissal
- assess whether an automatic unfair dismissal claim exists
- evaluate the merits of unfair dismissal claims
- construct arguments to support claims and remedies
