The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.

Every Citizens Advice Bureau is a registered charity reliant on trained volunteers and funds to provide these vital services for local communities.

Citizens Advice welcomes the opportunity to respond to this consultation.  CAB evidence often demonstrates the inadequacy of the information provided on fees and charges for both prospective and existing residents and their families.  This has resulted in distress and financial detriment for residents and their families, and has also prevented the market from working transparently and fairly.
