Citizens Advice insight report

Citizens Advice service insight report 2012 (Adobe Acrobat Document 3.6mb)

We're needed more than ever. Last year a faltering economy, cuts in public spending and a raft of reforms have hit low income earners, families and the poorest the hardest.

During this time, our advice helped 2.1 million people with 7.1 million everyday. But many more people benefit from our work:

Investment in the CAB service is an investment in the road to recovery. Our knowledge and expertise helps government and local authorities achieve savings more fairly, plan strategically and co-design service solutions.

Our insight report provides a window into a few selected areas of our work during 2011/12 which have turned lives around. It’s not intended to cover everything we do. It can’t. Instead, it reflects some of our defining achievements. It’s also an opportunity for us to look back at the difference we've made in making society fairer.

Thanks to all our funders, partners, staff and 22,200 dedicated volunteers whose support and time make all this possible.
