Citizens Advice Parliamentary Group

The APPG on Citizens Advice was established in Spring 2006 to offer an opportunity for parliamentarians to express their support for the Citizens Advice service and stay up to date with policy developments which impact upon the Citizens Advice service and its clients.

The group is co-chaired by Stephen Lloyd MP, Jonathan Edwards MP, Sarah Newton MP and Fiona O'Donnell MP.  The other officers of the group include Huw Irranca Davies MP, Pamela Nash MP and Baroness Howe of Idlicote. The Group has over seventy members drawn from both Houses of Parliament and from across the political spectrum and welcomes new members. The Group holds regular meetings when Parliament is sitting. Recent meeting topics have included welfare reform, bailiff regulation, child poverty and legal aid reform."
