Citizens Advice

The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.

Every Citizens Advice Bureau is a registered charity reliant on trained volunteers and funds to provide these vital services for local communities.

Working with local authorities, Citizens Advice Bureaux provide a modern advice service that makes a difference to the lives of individuals, their families and their communities in these difficult times.

Citizens Advice Bureaux:

  • help people deal with debt, repossession,
  • benefits, employment problems and more
  • support the local economy
  • tackle social exclusion
  • promote community cohesion
  • work with ‘hard to reach’ clients.
