The difference we make

Every Citizens Advice Bureau is a registered charity. We rely on the support of people like you to ensure that we’re ready with advice when we’re needed. Right now, the demand for our services is greater than ever.

What would you do if the bailiffs were knocking on your door while your wife was having a baby? Or you were too ill to work and your benefits were cut? Or you faced losing your home and dog after redundancy led to mounting debts? These are all things that have happened to our clients.

With a Citizens Advice Bureau in the community you have somewhere to turn – four in ten people have used a CAB at some point in their lives.

Donate

Each year millions of people encounter a problem that they feel unable to tackle alone. Our free, independent and confidential advice means they don’t have to. We helped Clive, Veejay and Michelle. And if you ever need us, we hope to be here for you too.

A donation of any amount would be greatly appreciated.

Gold Challenge

The Gold Challenge is a new fundraising initiative that is tied into the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Citizens Advice has become a charity partner of the Gold Challenge, which lets you test yourself – or your team – in 5, 10, 20 or 30 Olympic and Paralympic sports while raising money for us, your chosen cause.

Individuals

Companies

Associate with a well recognised and trusted brand, understand your customers better and offer structured volunteering opportunities to staff.

Charitable trusts

Improve the conditions and lives of the people you support through a partnership project with Citizens Advice.

Volunteer

It takes 21,500 volunteers to provide the service that we do. Volunteering with a CAB is a great way to pick up skills, make friends and feel part of an enthusiastic team.

Campaign

We don’t just advise our clients. We campaign to improve the policies and practices that affect all of our lives. Your support will make our voice even stronger.
