Citizens Advice and every Citizens Advice Bureau are registered independent charities. Citizens Advice is grateful to many donors for supporting our work. Lists of our donors can be found via our annual report archive.

How you can help us

Sam contacted his CAB in March, after struggling for three cold months, without heating or cooking facilities. His meter wouldn’t accept his new key card and his supplier had failed to take action. Without us, Sam would have had nowhere to turn for help.

Help us to help more people like Sam, Kate, Veejay and Clive by organising a small regular gift, which helps us to plan ahead with confidence.

A donation to Citizens Advice is an investment in your community.

As independent charities, many local Citizens Advice Bureaux are struggling to finance their most basic services. Some have been forced to close, denying people access to vital services.

We face a challenge. Our funding is unable to keep pace with the demands for our services. We need your help to meet our goal of being there for the people who need us.

"The anonymous £600 donation we received meant we could purchase a desperately needed new PC for our advisers to use." Blackpool CAB

We need to modernise our service and improve our training, yet essential projects will be delayed unless we can secure sufficient funds.

"The money enabled us to purchase two laptops for home visits, allowing vulnerable clients to access our service." Washington CAB

"The reassurance the adviser gave me was invaluable. She was like the stabilisers on my bike."

Clive
