Stafford and Stone Citizens Advice Bureau has been giving advice to the people of Stafford Borough since 1939.
The bureau provides free, confidential and impartial advice from our offices in Stafford and Stone and from outreach venues in the local community.
We offer face to face advice and advice by telephone on a range of issues including debt, benefits, housing, employment, family and relationship matters and consumer advice
We offer specialist advice services in debt, welfare benefit and housing.
Both offices offer disabled access.
The majority of advisers are trained volunteers, helping the Citizens Advice service to resolve over seven million new problems every year.
We couldn’t survive without our 21,500 fantastic volunteers, but we need around 5,000 more. We’re looking for all sorts of people with different backgrounds and skills to volunteer with us for a uniquely rewarding experience.
About the Citizens Advice service
There are 382 Citizens Advice Bureaux across England and Wales, all of which are members of Citizens Advice.
Together, we are the Citizens Advice service, and we help people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.
Because every Citizens Advice Bureau is an independent charity we rely on the support of people like you.
With a Citizens Advice Bureau in the community people always have somewhere to turn in times of crisis, but the unmet demand for our service is growing. Can you help us to help more people?
