Wealden Citizens Advice has bureaux in Crowborough, Hailsham and Uckfield and runs weekly advice sessions in Heathfield, Polegate, Wadhurst and Willingdon. We operate a general telephone and drop-in advice service and appointments are available for debt advice via referral from our generalist advisers.
We are a charity mainly staffed by volunteers. Our highly trained advisers have an in-depth knowledge of the make-up and needs of the local community and provide information and support to help people solve their problems.
All our bureaux have access for disabled clients.

The Citizens Advice service offers practical, up-to-date information and advice on a wide range of topics, including; debt, benefits, housing, legal, discrimination, employment, immigration, consumer and other problems.
Our advice is available to everyone regardless of race, gender, sexuality, age, nationality, disability or religion.

The majority of advisers are trained volunteers, helping the Citizens Advice service to resolve over 5.5 million new problems every year.
We couldn’t survive without our 20,000 fantastic volunteers, but we need around 5,000 more. We’re looking for all sorts of people with different backgrounds and skills to volunteer with us for a uniquely rewarding experience.

Because every Citizens Advice Bureau is an independent charity we rely on the support of people like you.
With a Citizens Advice Bureau in the community people always have somewhere to turn in times of crisis, but the unmet demand for our service is growing. Can you help us to help more people?

There are 426 Citizens Advice Bureaux across England and Wales, all of which are members of Citizens Advice.
Together, we are the Citizens Advice service, and we help people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.

Thanks to all the supporters of our service.
