Photos from our last Big Energy Saving Week

A big thank you to everyone who helped make Big Energy Saving Week 2016 a success. We had almost 500 events and achieved lots of press coverage. Our energy price comparison site got 6500 hits on Monday 31 October 2016, the first day of Big Energy Saving Week!

Here is a taste of some of the events that took place.

Exeter's MP Ben Bradshaw attended their Big Energy Saving Week event, which you can read about here.

The Mayor of Barnet visited Citizens Advice Barnet's event.

Reading's MP Alok Sharma attended their local Big Energy Saving Week event.

The Minister Margot James praised Big Energy Saving Week in her Letter from Westminster [ 390 kb] (Stourbridge News, 10 November 2016).

"Big Energy Saving Week began on 31st October - a campaign run by the excellent Citizens Advice, which aims to let people know how easy it is to switch energy supplier or tariff. You may have seen the Citizens Advice stand in the Rye Market last week inviting people to find out how to switch energy suppliers. You can find out more at or phone 03454 040506 to get a special sheet for our area. Believe it or not, if you have received your gas and electricity from the same supplier for several years, you can probably make a saving of £300 per year by switching."
