National Consumer Week

National Consumer Week is a yearly campaign which aims to raise people's awareness of specific consumer issues.

This year’s campaign will focus on raising awareness of consumer rights when shopping online, and what people can do if something goes wrong. It will take place 16 - 22 November.

Find out more about your rights

If you’re looking for advice on what your consumer rights are when buying something online and what you can do if you have a problem, you can find out more on our advice pages.

Resources for campaigners

We're creating a range of materials to help you raise awareness of people’s rights when buying things online, and what they can do if something goes wrong. These resources will be available from the beginning of November.

Our partners

Citizens Advice runs National Consumer Week in close collaboration with the Consumer Protection Partnership. This brings together key partners in the consumer landscape to identify, prioritise and coordinate collective action to tackle detriment.

Partners include the Trading Standards service and the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
