We have produced a range of materials and tools to help local Citizens Advice service, Trading Standards and any other partners who'd like to take part campaign.
All of the resources are available for download, and public facing resources will be available in English and Welsh.
The resources can be used to raise awareness of scams throughout the year, not just during this Scams Awareness campaign.
The Scams Awareness campaign briefing sets out the background to the campaign and includes a range of local activities for participating organisations.
Physical copies of the posters, postcard and leaflet are available to order free of charge while stocks last. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your delivery address and quantity needed.
Sign up to our Scams Awareness campaign mailing list by filling in our participation form to receive updates.
Posters and leaflets
Poster for home use - easily readable from a distance, these posters can be placed in windows to help raise awareness of scams.
Poster for public places - posters with a bit more detail to display in public places, such as supermarket noticeboards, banks or GP surgeries.
Postcard flyer - a short information leaflet to help people spot scams and signpost them to more information.
Foldable leaflet - a more detailed leaflet with all the key things people need to know about scams, including how they can protect themselves. This is a good option if you think the person will need more information, for example if they don't have internet access to find out more.
