Letter to complain about a service - poor standard of work

You can use this letter to complain to a trader if you're not happy about a service you've had done.

Under the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 a trader must carry out a service with reasonable care and skill, for a reasonable cost or the cost you've agreed and within a reasonable time, or the time you've agreed.

For more information about when you should use this letter, see When has a service been done badly, Service cost more than expected and Delays to a service.
