The Furniture Ombudsman

The Furniture Ombudsman is an independent organisation which specialises in providing alternative dispute resolution for consumers of the furniture, home improvement and floor coverings industry.   If you have a dispute about your furniture, kitchen or bathroom installation or floor covering which you cannot resolve after you have been through the complaints process with the retailer or trader, contact the Furniture Ombudsman.  If the trader is a member of the Furniture Ombudsman they can help you.  If not, they can still offer an inspection service, to help you resolve the case in court. Ombudsman Services: Property

The Ombudsman Services: Property is a free and independent service. It can investigate complaints made against chartered surveying firms, surveyors, estate agents, residential managing agents and other property professionals that are members of its scheme. Before complaining to the Ombudsman Services: Property, you must first have complained to the relevant firm and given it a chance to resolve the problem. The contact details are:

The Property Ombudsman (TPO)

The Property Ombudsman provides a free, fair and independent service for dealing with unresolved disputes between sales and letting agents who have joined the TPO and consumers who are actual or potential buyers or sellers or landlords or tenants of residential property in the UK. TPO follow the code of practice approved by the Trading Standards Institute Consumer Codes Approval Scheme (CCAS). Firms in this scheme display the TSI approved code logo. When you see the logo it means that the firm has agreed to provide good standards of service.
