Citizens Advice Response to Welsh Government’s Achieving our low carbon pathway by 2030 consultation

Putting in place plans to achieve a low carbon future is essential and we are encouraged by the strategy that the Welsh Government has proposed.  But it’s crucial that this strategy is implemented well, acknowledging how it may affect energy consumers and seeking to serve their interests too.

We recommend the Welsh Government use the evidence set out in this consultation response [ 270 kb] to inform the implementation of the strategy.

The response considers three areas of the consultation - renewables and local ownership, energy efficiency and electric vehicle charging infrastructures.
