Compare gas and electricity prices

This advice applies to Scotland

If you want to save money on your energy bills, you should think about shopping around for a better deal.

Before you start

You’ll need the name of your supplier and the name of your tariff. If you don’t already know this information, you can find it on your energy bill

To make the comparison more accurate, it’s also useful (but not essential) to know your annual consumption - this is the amount of gas or electricity you've used over the last year, measured in kilowatt hours (kwh). You’ll find this information on your annual statement, if you have one.

How to compare prices

You can use our price comparison tool to compare prices from different energy suppliers.
