Digital money coach

Enable clients to develop the skills and confidence they need to use digital technology effectively to help improve their financial capability. This includes helping clients to use digital financial services, taking action to reduce the proportion of client's household income spent on energy and offering follow-up support.

Adviser

Meet with members of the public on a one-to-one basis (either in person or over the phone) to provide advice. You will be trained to identify their problem, talk them through their various options, help them to decide on a path of action and, where necessary, act on their behalf, negotiating, drafting or writing letters or making appropriate referrals. You will also need to complete clear and accurate case records.

Caseworker assistant

Help your local Citizens Advice to monitor and evaluate the impact of their services by following up with clients and recording the outcomes of advice that has been given.

Witness Service court

You will be trained to help and enable witnesses to give their best evidence in court through practical information and emotional support on the day of trial.

Witness Service outreach

Meet vulnerable and intimidated witnesses outside of the court environment and on the day of trial to help them prepare practically and emotionally for the experience of giving evidence. You will be trained to provide tailored support to vulnerable and intimidated witnesses.

Financial education volunteers

Help people to improve how they manage their money by assisting financial education sessions on budgeting, borrowing, saving and banking. This could involve running a session, assisting a trainer, giving administrative support or helping with marketing and publicity.

Financial capability one to one trainer

Develop and deliver financial education on a one-to-one basis, helping people to develop individual action plans so they make better budgeting, borrowing, saving and banking decisions.

Financial capability group trainer

Develop, deliver and evaluate financial education training in small group sessions to a variety of community audiences to help them to make better budgeting, borrowing, saving and banking decisions.
