2015/16 Cumulative results
Royal Mail's cumulative results for 2015/16 are slightly worse than those for 2014/15.
1st Class missed the 93% target by 0.5% which is 0.5% down on the 2014/15 result.
2nd class passed the 98.5% target by 0.3% but is 0.1 down on the 2014/15 result.
Special Delivery failed the 99.0% target by 0.5% which is 0.2% worse than the 2014/15 result.
14 Post Code Areas (PCAs) failed to meet the 91.5% target this year compared to 9 last year. They are:
- Bath (BA) 91.3%
- Dundee (DD) 91.4%
- Gloucester (GL) 90.0%
- Ilford (IG) 88.3%
- Inverness (IV) 89.8%
- Milton Keynes (MK) 90.8%
- Northamptonshire (NN) 91.1%
- Oxford (OX) 91.1%
- Redhill (RH) 91.3%
- London South East (SE) 90.5%
- Southend-on-Sea (SS) 91.4%
- London South West (SW) 90.5%
- Taunton (TA) 91.2%
- Torquay (TQ) 90.8%

3 of these PCAs also failed in 2014/15, they were:
- Bath 91.3%
- Gloucester 91.2%
- and Taunton 90.5%; in addition Taunton 91.4% also failed in 2013/14.
This is the second year in a row that the number of PCAs that have missed the 91.5% target has increased by 5.
