Citizens Advice responds to The Warm Homes Plan
Dame Clare Moriarty, Chief Executive of Citizens Advice, said:
"We want to see lower bills, warmer, healthier homes and lasting changes for people who need it. This significant investment can do just that.
"For the Warm Homes Plan to work, consumers need confidence to know the steps they are taking will improve the comfort of their homes. Too often, people who are trying to make their homes warmer and cheaper to run have been let down by shoddy or unreliable installation.
"We look forward to working with the government to tackle this essential issue which includes making sure consumers get the advice they need at every stage: choosing the right measures, managing installation, and getting help when things go wrong."

We give people the knowledge and confidence they need to find their way forward - whoever they are, and whatever their problem.
