This post is funded by the Staffordshire County Council via their Crisis Resilience Fund to provide a RISE project (Resilience, Independence, Support & Empowerment) . The RISE project will be a multi- platform caseworker project which will focus on supporting households with budgeting, financial literacy, money management, financial literacy, benefit entitlement checks, income maximisation support, and assessing criteria to enable an application to the Crisis Resilience Fund. Where a household is assessed as eligible for Crisis Payments the Caseworker will support them to access this support, ensuring immediate need is addressed alongside the household's longer-term financial wellbeing plan. Once a Caseworker submits a Crisis Resilience Fund application on a household's behalf, the Caseworker will follow up directly with the client once a decision has been made following the 48 hour turnaround processing period.
