Who We are
Citizens Advice LeicesterShire is a local non-profit whose purpose is “Sharing knowledge to transform lives.” We listen, act, and empower people with accessible, high-quality advice. Guided by our values—we care, we help, we excel, we challenge—last year we supported over 31,000 people, securing them £14 million in additional income.
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated individual for our three-year “Boosting Advice” project, which focuses on helping residents over 65 access vital support. You will work within the community, building relationships with local groups and partners to connect with people who need our service. Your key responsibilities will involve meeting clients one-to-one to assess their needs and provide practical advice, while maintaining high-quality case notes to demonstrate the project's impact.
What you’ll bring
You're an excellent communicator who explains information clearly and patiently. A methodical problem-solver, you manage your workload effectively, even under pressure. You must be committed to our values of fairness and equality, comfortable with IT, and keen to learn. Full training is provided, so previous advice experience is not essential.
Why work with us?
Your work will have a direct impact on our community. We invest in your growth with ongoing training and development, and you’ll join a talented, collaborative team where your contributions make a real difference. Now is the perfect time to join us and help shape the future of our organisation.
