Am y rôl
This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly team to help our community in Three Rivers resolve issues related to homelessness and housing. This is a new role within our service and will form a job share. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria:
1. Minimum of two years’ experience of advice delivery to Citizens Advice certification.
2. An ability to demonstrate a level of commitment to training, identify own training needs and participate in continued personal development opportunities.
3. The ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines using own initiative.
4. The ability to communicate effectively with a range of people and organisations.
5. Good literacy and numeracy skills with the ability to carry out efficient client interviews and at times to undertake benefit calculations.
6. Ability to use IT systems, packages and resources in the provision of advice, record keeping and document production.
7. The ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team and work without close supervision.
8. Ability and willingness to follow agreed procedures, including maintaining confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries.
9. Ability to work in a sensitive and enabling way with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
10. Understanding of, and commitment to, the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice service and our organisational values.
