Our corporate partners

Aviva

We started working with Aviva in 2022 to help people and communities manage their money during the cost of living crisis.

Our partnership has helped us hire 50 more advisers for our national phone service, Adviceline. It’s also supported improvements to our website, which have led to a 10% rise in people being able to find the advice they need online.

Since then, this partnership has become much more than simply providing funding. Aviva staff at all levels have shared their expertise with us through volunteering. This includes:

  • staff joining us as trained advisers for 12 months

  • experts helping us solve problems with data and how we work

  • a 4-year project to improve our online chat service

We’ve also launched a service for Aviva’s 16 million UK customers. Aviva’s staff are trained to identify when a customer might need extra support. They can refer them directly to us for free, confidential and impartial advice.

SGN, Northern Gas Networks, Wales & West Utilities

These gas distribution networks are working with us to deliver the Energy Safeguarding and CO Safety Partnership in England and Wales.

Through our Energy Advice Programme, we're helping vulnerable people:

  • access expert energy advice

  • get better energy deals

  • improve their household income

Together, we've designed a safeguarding scheme to give extra support to more households on low incomes. We’ve also given extra training to our advisers on the dangers of carbon monoxide (CO). They can provide people with energy and CO safety packs, including CO alarms.

Ovo Energy, E.on Next and British Gas

These partners are working with us to fund our Energy Advice Programme through the Warm Home Discount Industry Initiative.

This programme gives people advice to help them cut their fuel costs at home. The programme also looks at people's whole situation to see if we can boost their income. For example, we can:

  • check if they’re eligible for benefits

  • help them apply for energy grants and fuel vouchers

  • help them apply for schemes to make their home more energy efficient

Lloyds Banking Group

We’ve been working with Lloyds Banking Group since 2022. Through our partnership, customers of Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland can be referred directly to our trained advisers for support with a wide range of problems.

NatWest Group

We’ve worked in partnership with NatWest Group (NWG) since 2015. Our partnership sees dedicated advisers supporting NWG customers on a range of issues.

SGN

SGN has partnered with us to provide extra funding for a project to support households most at risk of fuel poverty.

By bringing expert energy advice directly to these communities, we're making sure they get the support they need. The project gives people:

  • help if they’re struggling to afford essentials

  • expert advice on keeping their home warm and safe

  • guidance to make sure they’re getting all the benefits and grants they're entitled to

This work helps us reach people who are most isolated and facing hardship. It also helps reduce fuel poverty and give people the knowledge they need to manage their energy bills.

Together, we're committed to helping those most in need while building a more inclusive, energy-secure future.

Yorkshire Building Society

We’ve worked with Yorkshire Building Society (YBS) since 2021. YBS funds face-to-face advice in 40 of their branches across England and Wales.

Our advisers are available in YBS branches up to 3 days a week, offering advice to customers and anyone else who needs it. You can read more about our partnership on the YBS website.
