Health inequalities: good advice, good health and a good society
We are conducting research with the support of the Health Foundation on how social and economic issues impact health inequalities. We will draw upon the expertise of, and data collected by, our local network to better understand the factors affecting health outcomes at the individual level - and explore the role advice can play in improving outcomes. All of the project's outputs are available below.
Research themes
We are aiming to conduct research and influence policy across three broad themes:
Economic activity. Our latest report on this theme examines how our clients’ health is shaped by their experiences in and out of work, and how differences in resources and support available are driving unequal outcomes.

We are establishing a new quantitative data dashboard (coming soon) to collate what we know about health outcomes for people who come to Citizens Advice for support with health-related benefits.
