Citizens Advice responds to Ofcom plans to retain safeguard cap on stamp prices for second class letters.

Matthew Upton, Acting Executive Director of Policy and Advocacy at of Citizens Advice, said:

“This is welcome news for consumers and something Citizens Advice called for in response to Ofcom’s Review of Postal Regulation.

“People rely on post to send important information, like benefits paperwork, court documents and job applications.

“The price cap on second class letters ensures basic post products remain affordable.“
