Advice Session Supervisor

Citizens Advice Cheshire North are recruiting a 4 day/week Advice Session Supervisor to support our busy advice team, covering Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. This job is based in our Macclesfield Office.

We are a friendly, hard-working team who help people resolve their welfare benefits, money, housing and other problems by providing free, independent, confidential and impartial information and advice. We value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination.

This role would suit an existing Advice Session Supervisor, caseworker, or an experienced generalist adviser who is looking to progress - we will provide training to the right candidate where development is required.

In this role you will manage the practicalities of the advice session, providing day to day supervision of the advice team, made up of volunteers and staff working in the office, from home and at outreach locations.

Additionally you will ensure that both advice and case recording meet Citizens Advice quality requirements, and that all other statistical information required by funders is recorded.

We will consider applications for less than 4 days - but you must be able to work 2 consecutive days

We will review applications on a rolling basis and reserve the right to withdraw the advert should a suitable applicant be found.
