About the role
Based at our Ashfield Office
37 hours per week (job share or part time considered)
Fixed term contract -End date: 31 March 2026 (renewal subject to continuation of funding)
Salary £24,000-£25,648 dependent on experience (pro rata for part time)
We are expanding our team to include an additional financial resilience adviser who will work alongside our generalist and money advice teams. You will provide advice on all enquiry areas focusing on income maximization and financial resilience which will include benefits and budgeting advice. You will assist clients to act upon advice given to achieve positive outcomes, helping people to build assets for the future and access training and employment opportunities.
The role will also involve working with a range of stakeholders to achieve the outcomes of the project and improve financial resilience for households. If you wish to be considered for this innovative exciting opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills-
Strong IT skills and experience of online applications
Ideally you will have experience of all areas of advice work including knowledge of welfare benefits, debt and housing
Have good verbal and written communication skills
A flexible attitude to work
Understanding and commitment of the aims, policies and principles of Citizens Advice
Ability to work to set quality standards
Track record of successfully working with partners to achieve client outcomes
