About the role

Funded by Thurrock Community Fund we are looking to recruit a new part time Family Adviser to work in some of the Family Hubs in Thurrock.

The project is designed to focus on anyone in Thurrock Borough who is pregnant, on maternity leave or living with a child under 2 years of age. Providing the full range of holistic advice. The service will include initial check, assessment, discrete advice and where required general advice. You will be supported by a group of highly skilled supervisors to deliver a quality service to meet the needs of our local residents.

This is an ideal opportunity to extend your existing skills or develop a new career in a highly rewarding role. We want people who are passionate about giving clients the best possible outcome and helping the most in need in our community, especially during these challenging financial times. You will be a highly motivated and strong team player with excellent customer service skills. Experience of delivering Citizens Advice service at advice level or a similar level of competency is desirable, but training can be provided.
