Citizens Advice Darlington, Redcar and Cleveland is recruiting an Outreach Adviser (Schools) to join an exciting new project based in Grangetown.
This is more than a job — it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting difference to families by providing high-quality advice and support in the community.
We’re looking for someone who can engage confidently and compassionately with vulnerable clients, including those who are distressed or have complex advice needs. You’ll be a motivated team player with excellent interpersonal, organisational, communication and numeracy skills.
What you’ll need:
• Empathy, compassion and a commitment to helping others
• Strong written, communication and numeracy skills
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Experience providing generalist advice across a range of enquiry areas
• Experience building relationships within communities and with partner organisations
• The drive to make a positive difference
We’ll provide extensive training and development to help you grow your confidence and capability while delivering a first-class advice service.
