Money Advice Service business plan consultation 2016/17 - Citizens Advice response

Every year, the Money Advice Service (MAS) publish their draft business plan for consultation. This outlines their overall aims for the year and the main areas of work that will deliver these aims. MAS then finalise their plan, before the Financial Conduct Authority approves their plan and budget for the year.

Citizens Advice has responded to the plan again this year [ 200 kb]. Overall, we are pleased that MAS have listened to our feedback and others in the sector in developing their thinking. We have highlighted the specific areas where we welcome their approach and where we have concerns, and where appropriate, outlined our preferred way forward.
