Citizens Advice, as the statutory advocate for energy consumers in England and Wales, welcomes this opportunity to respond to the Regional Energy Strategic Planning (RESP) Draft methodology consultation. Broadly we are in agreement with the proposed methodology and believe that it will enable the RESP to support coordinated development of the distribution system, enable long-term investment to be made with confidence, and reflect regional variations.
