Citizens Advice Response to Ofgem’s Call For Input on Tackling Debt in the Supplier Home Moves Process
We welcome the opportunity to respond to this call for input to tackle energy debt accumulation following home moves. We agree with the overarching principle that efforts should be made to reduce the amount of inadvertent debt consumers can find themselves in following a Change of Tenancy (CoT), including debt they are not responsible for.
