Royal Mail post collection and delivery times are different depending on where you live. 

If your post has been delayed, you might be able to get compensation from Royal Mail. You can complain if you’re not happy with the service they provided.

When you'll get your post

Royal Mail will deliver your post Monday to Saturday, usually by 4.30pm. They also deliver on Sundays in some areas.

If you have a parcel delivery that’s due to arrive at a specific time, it might be delivered later than 4:30pm.

You won’t get post on bank holidays.

If you have to collect post from a customer service point

Customer service points are usually located in delivery offices.

Check the opening hours on the Royal Mail website before you collect your post.

If your post or parcel hasn’t arrived

You might be able to claim compensation from Royal Mail if your post is lost or delayed. You can claim compensation if your post or parcel hasn’t arrived on the Royal Mail website.

When your post will be collected 

Your local post box collection time depends on where you live.

The latest collection from a post office is usually when it closes.

Saturday collection times are 7am to 1.30pm for all locations.
