You can find out about your right to access information under Freedom of Information law in Scotland on the Scottish Information Commissioner website.

The Scottish Information Commissioner provides information about rights to access information held by public organisations that operate in Scotland only, for example, the Scottish government. 

If you want to access information from a UK-wide public authority which operates in Scotland, for example, the BBC, or from those with responsibility for England, Wales or Northern Ireland only, find out more on the UK Information Commissioner website.
