Help Through Hardship Adviser
1 x FT (37 hrs per week, part time hours are also considered)

We provide free, confidential, and independent advice to help people overcome their problems. We are a voice for our clients and consumers on the issues that matter to them. Join our dedicated Advice Team, providing specialist advice in a very busy working environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced adviser to:
· To assist and support England and Wales clients in delivering a Help Through hardship phone service for people struggling to afford the basics
· Deliver practical, tailored, income maximisation advice to help clients address their underlying causes of hardship
· Where appropriate issue a food bank voucher
· Identify wider needs (debt, immigration or housing, for example), signposting to onward specialist support
· Achieve the aim of maximising a client’s position so they no longer need food bank support Benefits
· 7% pension contribution.
· Holiday: 24 days pa plus Bank Holidays.
· Christmas closure: Up to 4 additional paid days during the festive period.
· Long service: increase by one day for each year of service during your first five years.
