Citizens Advice Leeds is seeking an adviser to work on our exciting new project- PowerHelp.

The purpose of the post is to provide access to advice for customers referred by Northern Power Grid in the Yorkshire region.

The successful candidate will provide advice via telephone, Skype or other suitable channel with a particular emphasis on fuel poverty and energy issues. They will develop good working relationships with local Citizens Advice to help ensure customers from across Yorkshire can access the help they need.

The ability to work flexibly and efficiently in a demanding environment is essential, as is the ability to think on your feet and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Suitable candidates for the post will have experience of delivering generalist advice including debt, welfare benefits and housing
