About our advice service

All clients seeking advice at the Bureau will receive an initial assessment of their situation in a short interview with an Assessor. Assessment interviews are available at designated times throughout the day subject to volunteer adviser availability. If further advice is needed as a result of this assessment, an appointment will be made at a time and date convenient to the client. In certain circumstances we may also be able to provide advice over the telephone by call-back.

The Bureau also offers specialist advice in welfare benefits and debt and is also an intermediary for Debt Relief Orders. For further information about our specialist services, please refer to our website.
